Swiss watchmaker Zenith joined hands with Bamford Watch Department to reinterpret the brand’s classic models with retro futurism, and launched the Chronomaster El Primero Radar watch. George Bamford, the founder of Bamford Watch Department, had a 1916 pocket watch during his first visit to Zenith. The striking red tone on its dial has become the main source of inspiration for the Radar collection. Drawing inspiration from Zenith’s old collection timepieces, Mr. Bamford has boldly reinvented classic timepieces and created a retro-inspired flagship flagship El Primero Radar limited edition watch.
Rader redefines the Zenith Chronomaster El Primero with a striking stance, but while introducing a new design, it also retains the basic elements of the collection. Its stainless steel case, crown and buttons are all finely matte. The classic El Primero three-color dial with oversized chronograph scale is also re-interpreted by a special process, with modern charcoal brown, the edges gradually darken, bringing a strong visual impact, just like the iconic white tachymeter scale on the outer edge of the dial The design is in stark contrast to the radial design.
Different three-color timers further highlight the special characteristics of this cooperation model. The small second dial on the left is composed of multiple concentric circles, inspired by George Bamford’s favorite Zenith watches; the clock counter at 6 o’clock retains the more traditional Chronomaster design; 3 o’clock The minute counter of the position, just like the name of this watch Radar, bold red tone and Super-LumiNova coated fluorescent material in the dark mutually reflect each other, showing the “night vision” effect. The delicate three sub-dials subtly compose the Zenith logo of Zenith. As Mr. George Bamford said, “The thin lines in the sub-dial represent the hollowed-out shape of the star, like a star sitting in the middle. This inspired me exactly.”
The Zenith Chronomaster El Primero Radar limited watch is equipped with a black rubber strap with a Cordura effect; Mr. George Bamford’s favorite red double stitching embellishes it, which echoes the dial design. It is contemporary and full of charm. Lost retro style.http://www.watchesbuysale.com/
